Days before Easter, Donald Trump has announced his new venture, shocking both supporters and opponents. He is all set to sell copies of the King James version of the Holy Bible priced at $59.99. But there’s a twist. It’s an all-American Bible featuring certain parts of the U.S. Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Alliance.

Trump said in a video pitching his new Bible that many Americans are not aware of their rights and history. He further noted that it was his attempt to uphold the honor of Christianity in America.

He even went out to team up with country singer Lee Greenwood, who wrote the famous song “God Bless USA.” A handwritten version of the song has scored a place in Trump’s Bible.

Businessman Trump has invested in several consumer goods before, including vodka, steaks, etc. An all-American Bible is a new addition to the list. On Tuesday, Trump wrote on his social media handle, “Happy, holy week. Let’s make America pray again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible.”

The Bible is available online for purchase, and Trump will receive an agreed-upon royalty from each person. Political critics are calling Trump a “hypocrite” to use a holy book to cover his legal fees. The Republican party is currently spending a lot of money to defend Trump in his hush-money case trials. This new venture might be a strategy to raise funds for his upcoming campaigns.

But Trump denies such allegations, saying, “Religion and Christianity are the biggest things missing from this country, and I truly believe that we need to bring them back, and we have to bring them back fast.” He calls himself a crusade, claiming to fight for Christian rights.

He is currently receiving a lot of backlash for this stunt on social media. Former Republican Liz Cheney wrote, “Happy Holy Week, Donald. Instead of selling Bibles, you should probably buy one and read it, including Exodus 20:14.”
