President Biden In Trouble For Acknowledging Transgender Day of Visibility!

President Biden has been attacked once again by the former president’s republican allies due to acknowledging the transgender day of Visibility, which is celebrated on March 31 every year.

Trump is using religion as his core pillar for the upcoming 2024 election. Selling $60 copies of “God Bless the USA” was seen by political critics as a way to gain support from orthodox Christians. He is once again invoking the religious sentiment of the American people by bashing President Biden for acknowledging transgender day, which falls on the same day as Easter Sunday.

On Friday, the white house issued a statement wishing everyone for the upcoming transgender day of Visibility. The statement follows: “Join us in lifting up the lives and voices of transgender people throughout our nation and to work toward eliminating violence and discrimination based on gender identity.”

It enraged Trump’s republican allies, who have been criticizing the current president the whole weekend for his reluctance to stand with conservative Christians and Catholics. Trump’s press secretary, Mike Johnson, wrote on X, “ We call on Joe Biden’s White House to issue an apology to the millions of Catholics and Christians across America who believe tomorrow is for one celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Johnson further called it blasphemous and further added, “ Biden is banning sacred truth and tradition while at the same time proclaiming Easter Sunday as the transgender day is outrageous and abhorrent. The American people are taking note.”

The president’s preference for transgender day over Easter, which happens to fall on the same day, has upset his conservative Christian followers. But President Biden’s campaign denied the allegations, stating that Trump only wants to divide the country.

A Democratic spokesperson wrote, “As a Christian who celebrates Easter with family, President Biden stands for bringing people together and upholding the dignity and freedom of every American. Biden will never abuse his faith for political purposes or for profit.”

On Sunday, the White House finally issued a statement recognizing the second most holly celebration of Christianity, Easter: As we gather with loved ones, we remember Jesus’s sacrifice. We pray for one another and cherish the blessing of the dawn of new possibilities. And, with wars and conflict taking a toll on innocent lives around the world, we renew our commitment to work for peace, security, and dignity for all people.”
