Israel Hits Back On UN For Adding Israeli Military In The “List Of Shame”

Israel’s UN ambassador Gilad Erden has confirmed receiving the UN’s message on blacklisting the Israeli military for child abuse in the upcoming annual report. The news has received major backlash from Israeli officials from Erden to Benjamin Netanyahu.

States of organizations that conduct violations against Children are added to this “List of Shame.” Despite being involved in killing thousands of women and children every year, Israel somehow kept their names off the list for many years. But this time, Israel failed, as the UN finally decided to feature the Israeli military’s horrible acts against innocent children of Gaza in their upcoming annual report, following the likes of Daesh and Boko Haram.

On Friday, Gilad Erden was officially informed about the decision. “This is simply outrageous and wrong.” said Erden, “ I am utterly shocked and disgusted by this shameful decision of the secretary general. Israel’s army is the most moral army in the world, so this immoral decision will only aid the terrorists and reward Hamas.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has also given a morbid reaction to the UN’s decision and threatened to strain ties with the peace enforcement organization. “UN has added itself to the black list of history by supporting those who support Hamas,” said Netanyahu.

According to UNICEF, the Israeli military has killed at least 15,000 children since the war began. The child rights agency also confirmed that 9 out of 10 children in the Gaza Strip are deprived of food- one of the highest percentages ever recorded.
