Hamas Released New Video Of Hostages Including An American Captive: Netanyahu Calls It “Psychological Terrorism”

Hamas has published a new three-minute-long video of two hostages taken during the Oct 7 attack, one of them being an American citizen. The hostages have been identified by their families as Keith Seigel, 64, and Omri Miran, 47.

Hamas has been regularly posting videos of hostages to create pressure on the Israeli prime Minister to start a ceasefire negotiation with the Palestine militant group in exchange for the Israeli captives. Saturday’s video was nothing different. The video showcases Keith Seigel, 64, and Omri Miran, 47, speaking in front of a gray background.

The messages of the videos remain the same: Both urge Netanyahu to bring them back home.

“I have been here in Hamas captivity for 202 days. The situation here is unpleasant and difficult, and there are many bombs. It’s time to reach a deal that will get us out of here safe and healthy … Keep protesting so that there will be a deal now.” Miran said, who was taken out of his home in front of his wife and two daughters during the Oct 7 attack.

Keith breaks down in front of the camera as he misses his family, “We are in danger here, there are bombs, it is stressful and scary; I want to tell my family that I love you very much. It’s important to me that you know that I am fine.”

The video came during the Passover holiday, which signifies Israel’s freedom from slavery in Egypt during the time of Moses. Earlier this week, another hostage, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, was also brought in front of the camera, sparking outrage among Israeli citizens who protested in the streets to bring “Hersh” home as soon as possible.
